The Dog Training Club of Champaign-Urbana promotes responsible pet ownership. As a function of this community mission, DTCCU offers Home Companion classes which foster a positive human/canine relationship for the typical pet owner. We also offer group classes in a wide variety of dog sports such as obedience, rally, agility, tracking and scent work. Our classes are organized and taught by volunteers with extensive experience as trainers, competitors, and judges.
Licensed by the American Kennel Club, the Dog Training Club of Champaign-Urbana hosts a number of AKC events, including Obedience Trials, Tracking Tests, Agility Trials, Rally Obedience Trials, and obedience and agility fun matches every year.
