This class is designed to foster a respectful and responsible relationship between Junior handlers and their dogs with the goal of successfully exhibiting in either 4H or AKC Beginner Novice or Novice classes. We will stress skills to encourage working as a team, establishing consistent standards, and engaging with the dog in a positive, productive manner. It is desirable that the Junior Handler has some experience working with their dog and has some responsibility in caring for the dog at home.
