This class teaches beginning pieces and skills for Open and Utility Competition Obedience. It will not have you ready to compete at those levels. You may take the class numerous times. Many of the exercises are taught in small pieces over time. You don’t have to have a CD to take this class, but your dog should be able to heel on a loose leash, have a stay and a recall. The exercises with be a mix of open and utility and will be adjusted your current skill level. Some of the skills worked on are- retrieves, heeling, drop on recall, command discrimination, broad jump, retrieve over jump, articles, directed jumping, signals, directed retrieve and moving stand. You will learn teamwork !
