Jess’s love of dogs and dog training started young with her family Schipperke. She currently has a Miniature American Shepherd and a Pembroke Corgi. Jess loves the nerdy aspects of training and breaking down problems into small steps so that both human and dog are successful! Her mission is to make sure every dog’s needs are met and they feel comfortable in the training environment. Jess has been competing in agility since 2017. She started her agility journey at DTCCU, then moved to Chicago and St. Louis area, and is now coming back to her “home” club. She is also active in the FDSA community to learn new dog training skills and understand dog behavior. When they’re not training, Jess and her dogs can be found out hiking and dabbling in scent work.
