Obedience Foundations

In this class the foundational skills for competitive obedience will be taught. We will address the most difficult parts of the most difficult obedience exercises, novice through utility, and teach them as simple games that are fun and motivating for you and your dog. For example we will teach a “mark” (for the go-out exercise in utility) with a “look at the cookie” game, we will teach position changes at a distance (for open) with a “fly around the cone” game, we will teach “front” (part of the recall in novice) with a “treat to target” game, along with many others. This class is suitable for all dogs regardless of age or experience.
