March meeting will be on February 28, 2015

By on Feb 16, 2015 in Club News |

The DTCCU March Membership meeting has be re-scheduled for Saturday, February 28, from 1 to 4 pm, at the DTCCU Club Building.  There will be NO meeting March 3.  This Saturday meeting will be a participatory goal-setting meeting where the membership will have the opportunity to help plan the direction the club will be taking during the next few years.  Over the past forty years, we have grown from a handful of people interested in training together with the goal of eventually having the resources to host our own obedience trial to an organization with over 120 members, a beautiful, mortgage-free facility, and the ability to host 19 separate AKC events including Agility, Obedience, Rally, and Tracking trials and tests.  We have been immensely successful due to the volunteer efforts of a great number of people over many years. At this point in time, we need to look toward the future in order to determine how we might best move forward.  This meeting is a chance to collectively discuss and plan what our future goals might be.  The give-and-take face-to-face exchange – the process – might be just as important as the product.  In order to have the necessary materials pre-printed for this meeting, I would like for members to please let me know of their intention to attend this meeting.  If you are able to attend this goal-setting meeting, please let me know by a private email ( dwalton341@aol.com ) by Thursday, February 26. ...
